Our Commitment
PLOTSPARK LTD is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
We believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone. We are committed to providing a platform that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
Conformance Status
Target Standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
Current Status: Partially conformant. We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
European Standard: We aim to comply with EN 301 549, the European standard for accessibility requirements for ICT products and services, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882).
Measures We Have Taken
PlotSparkOS takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as part of our development practices and code reviews
- Use semantic HTML elements and ARIA attributes where appropriate
- Provide keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
- Ensure sufficient colour contrast ratios (WCAG AA: 4.5:1 for normal text)
- Support screen reader compatibility
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content
- Ensure responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
- Support browser zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Use clear and consistent navigation patterns
- Provide visible focus indicators for keyboard users
- Respect user preferences for reduced motion
- Support dark mode for users with light sensitivity
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of PlotSparkOS may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to address these:
- Complex dashboard widgets: Some advanced dashboard components (charts, maps, drag-and-drop interfaces) may have limited keyboard accessibility. Alternative data views are provided where possible.
- Third-party content: Some embedded third-party services (payment forms, authentication screens) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We work with our providers to improve this.
- PDF documents: Some generated documents may not be fully accessible. We are working on providing accessible alternatives.
- Real-time features: Live notifications and real-time updates may not be fully announced to screen readers.
Technologies
Accessibility of PlotSparkOS relies on the following technologies:
- HTML5
- WAI-ARIA (Web Accessibility Initiative — Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
- CSS / Tailwind CSS
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React (with accessible component patterns)
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
